I love me challenge = 7 day love story that you are creating with yourself.

The most important thing for you is to get out of your comfort zone. That’s where al the good stuff happens! By making a decision to commit to your own wellbeing for 7 days, you are signaling to you inner self that you are a VIP. The goal of this challenge is to get you started on a daily practice of self care. By keeping a diary through this challenge and writing down your thoughts each day you will get the best results. The best of luck with this challenge!

Day 1. You are the leading lady of your life

Everything begins by you putting yourself as number 1. The easiest way to do this is to actually do things to show yourself that you matter. When you treat yourself with respect and adoration, others will follow.

Today: Treat yourself with something nice! You deserve it. After all you have now committed to self care for 7 days. Reward yourself for this decision! Buy yourself flowers/read through a good magazine / take a bath….Point is, that give your self some pleasurable quality time.

Day 2. Focus

Today we turn our heads towards the actions we are proud of. Pause for a moment and look back. What have you accomplished in the past that makes you really proud of being you? These can be big things, concrete accomplishments or they can be silent acts of bravery. Often we forget to give ourselves credit for all the good we do.

Today: What did you do within the past year (why not past 10) that you feel is couragious, honorable or just plain great? Write these thing down and snap a photo of the list.

Day 3. Sleep

One of the true corner stones for living a fulfilling life is that you are well rested. All challenges become greater if you are tired. Think about all the consequences of not getting enough good quality rest? It has an impact on your hormones, your vitality, your life expectancy, brain functionality….

Today: Go to bed early. At least one hour before your regular bedtime. Make your sleep the priority today!

Day 4. Speaking kindly to yourself

You do not need to be perfect (seriously!) to be gorgeous and lovable. How do you speak to yourself and about yourself? What is the tone of your voice? Is it loving and caring or is the tone hard and demanding?

Today: Talk kindly to and about yourself (others too). Take a long look in the mirror and praise all whats good in you (mental and physical).

Day 5. Crappy days

How do you love yourself in the midst of stress and hardship? Who are you then?

Let the feelings come to you and stay there. Think about what would best serve you in these moments?

Today: Create your own ”rescue remedy” questions for a hard, crappy day. 2 suggestions to start with are: 1. What am I thankful for today? 2. What is the most important thing for me to do today? Create atlas a third one and write them down somewhere you can see them.

Day 6. Thanking your body

Our looks define us through out our lives. It begins already in the uterus, when mom and dad want to know if it’s going to be a boy or a girl. It follows with us and effects our actions toward our looks. These actions range from haircuts and exercise to plastic surgery. We also demand and expect a lot from our body. Often we are critical and sometimes want it to be different from its current state. We usually forget to thank our amazing bodies for carrying us and trying its hardest every, single day. How do you take care of your vitality and take care of your precious body?

Today: Draw yourself. Mark down all the parts of your body that are important for you. Thank your body out loud.

Day 7. Letting go

Think about this past week. Do you find things, people that take up room in your thoughts? Sometimes we tend to hold on to thing that do not serve us anymore.

Today: What can you let go of that would free energy, time or space in your life? Write it down on a piece of paper. Burn this paper (do it safely!) and recycle the ashes to something useful (like a flower pot).
